Teaching Environmental can be FUN!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Join this session to experience hands-on, engaging activities that will allow your students to better understand their world. Participants will demonstrate the rock cycle using melted crayons, learn how to use Google Classroom to enhance your teaching and avoid the overuse of PowerPoint, and will walk away with complete lesson plans for several other hands-on activities. Additionally, participants will practice using classroom debates to engage students in learning about the impact of human activities on the environment. Everyone will leave with an excitement for Environmental Systems and several ideas that can be used immediately in their classrooms. Bring your own device to truly take advantage of this session!!

I love teaching science at all levels and differentiation is my passion. I want to make it easier for teachers to differentiate in the classroom so that we can reach all students where they are while still maintaining rigor.
