Who Stole Speedy? Solving the Mystery Using DNA Evidence

The case of the pet-napping of Speedy, the class turtle. This session provides a unique hands-on experience for your students through an actual crime scene investigation to eliminate a suspects and identify the thief. Join me as we will perform DNA extraction and gel electrophoresis to solve the case. Ink chromatography will be used to validate the results. Materials will be available to easily modify to your classroom and door prize available.
